Vanna White, Wheel of Fortune's woman of letters, turned up in Boston for a special series of Wheel shows that she and Fat Sajak were doing with college quiz kids. After the taping, White obliged autograph seeker Gertie Kagan with her John Hancock.

Jazz aficionado Woody Allen, 57, and his girlfriend, Soon-Vi Previn, 21, headed south to New Orleans for a quick getaway over the Easter weekend. In recent weeks, Allen has been in court daily in Manhattan, where he and ex-lover Mia Farrow have been fighting over the custody of three children.
