A Doctor Dre (left) and Ed Lover, longtime hosts of Yo! MTV Raps, took their show on the road to Los Angeles for the opening of their film comedy, Who's the Man? The movie, which features cameos by a who's who of hip-hop and MTV notables, came in No. 2 at the box office last weekend.

Hello, Dolly wood! Gerald McRaney (Major Dad) and wife Delia Burke. who plays a country singer on Delta, floated through the annual opening-day parade at Dollywood, Dolly Parton's theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Later the two caught Parton's concert with Billy Kay Cyrus.

It Should Happen to You: Jack Lemmon, 68, with Lee Grant, who starred with him in Airport '77, was honored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center in Manhattan. Lemmon has made 50-plus films in his 40-year career, won two Oscars and been nominated six times.

Among those at the big gay rights rally in Washington were rocker Melissa Etheridge (left) and Cybill Shepherd (below). Etheridge, gay and proud of it, entertained the crowd by singing "Keep It Precious." Why was Shepherd there? "I'm straight, but I'm not narrow," said the actress, who marched with Jim Jennings, a sailor honorably discharged from the Navy in 1990. Jennings wore the nameplate of his late lover, Navy radioman Allen Schindler, 22. who was beaten to death in Japan.
