In her most recent life, Shirley MacLaine, 57, is teaming with Marcello Mastroianni, 67, in Used People, a romantic comedy about a Jewish widow and her Italian suitor. They shot the movie on location in Brooklyn for a week. Then filming moved to Toronto.

Don Johnson and wife Melanie Griffith, who star in Paradise, a drama about an estranged couple who reunite after a young boy spends the summer with them, brought their co-stars, Thora Birch, 9, and Elijah Wood, 10, to the movie's Manhattan premiere.

"Does your mother have a fur coat?" That's what Madonna's T-shirt wants to know—in Italian. The pop diva and animal-rights supporter jogged while in New York City during a break from her forthcoming film, A League of Their Own.
