Frankie & Johnny star Al Pacino deplaned in London recently with steady Lyndall Hobbs. An Aussie filmmaker, Hobbs directed 1987's Back to the Beach, with Annette Funicello.

Joan Collins was a runway hit among the boys who star in off-Broadway's Pageant, which spoofs beauty contests. Collins herself is set to star on Broadway in Private Lives.

Achtung Baby, it's "The Fly." Due Nov. 19, Achtung Baby is U2's new LP; "The Fly" is the first single. Lead singer Bono (right) filmed the accompanying video in London.

Funny Girls: Mario Thomas, Tracey Ullman, Lily Tomlin, Carol Burnett, Mary Tyler Moore, Betty White (inspecting Moore), Jasmine Guy, Justine Bateman and producer Jack Haley Jr. were all smiles on the set of Funny Women of Television: A Museum of Television & Radio Tribute. The NBC special airs Oct. 24.
