Carl Weathers, best known as the Apollo Creed character in the Rocky movies, stars in this series as a cop with muscles and morals. Bryan (The Bold and the Beautiful) Genesse is his sidekick. Literally. The young man is a martial arts expert. Charlene Fernetz and Learn Blackwood round out the regulars.
Because of the stars' athleticism, the action sequences are unusually good, and there's greater ethnic diversity than on most shows. Still, the series is only so-so when it comes to production values and storytelling. But for those who miss the big bang of Hunter, here's your fix.
