Most soap opera actors dream of jumping to prime time. But none could be happier than Daytime Emmy-winner Marcy Walker, who makes the leap with Palace Guard (see review). Before leaving Santa Barbara, Walker was mired in a plot that was mind-boggling even by soap standards. Evil twins and split personalities? Common as pigeons in a city square. Walker at the end was splintered into Eden, Lisa, Suzanne and Charming—daytime's first manifestation of quadrophrenia. Rest assured it won't be the last.
