Doting mom Christie Brinkley found time for a cellular chat with daughter Alexa (Dad, of course, is Billy Joel) during a practice session for the cutting-horse demonstration at the National Horse Show in East Rutherford, N.J.

Fresh from a mid-life crisis in City Slickers, Billy Crystal tackles the golden years as a 70-year-old comic in Mr. Saturday Night, a film he is acting in and directing, in Manhattan.

Yesterday and Today: Barbara Walters and Katie Couric, the once and current hosts of NBC's Today show, coffee-klatched at a March of Dimes charity cook-off in New York City.

Cheers' Kirstie Alley danced with her Big One, hubby Parker Stevenson, at a San Diego benefit to raise money to distribute Cry Out, an environmental guide Kirstie helped write for kids.

Harley-riding twins Gunnar (above, left) and Matthew Nelson put up their hair and cranked up their engines for Love Ride 8, a 100-mile California hogathon from Glendale to Malibu Canyon that took in $850,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Leading the pack of 8,600 bikers was Peter Fonda (left), who has been working on his autobiography.
