Pro Bono: Brothers Rob (left) and Chad Lowe, 27 and 23 respectively, bagged U2's new Achtung Baby LP at a record store in L.A. Rob is now in New York City to begin rehearsals for his Broadway debut in A Little Hotel on the Side on Jan. 14.

Kathie Lee Gifford, named a Woman of the Year by New York City's Police Athletic League at a charity fete, puckered up with husband Frank. The talk show hostess is writing her autobiography, due next October.

Actress Ann Jillian and her manager-husband, Andy Murcia, were in a family way at a Manhattan gala benefiting St. Clare's Hospital, where Jillian was honored. The baby's ETA is Feb. 5, and his name will be Andrew Joseph Murcia IV.

One Life to Live's newest soap dish, Ivana Trump, taped a cameo that will air Dec. 18, the ABC show's 6,000th episode. Joining her were OLTL hunks (from left) James Dc Paiva, Christopher Cousins and Mark Brettschneider.

Rolling Stones Ron Wood (left) and Keith Richards stepped out with their (presumably) better halves, wives Jo Howard and Patti Hansen, in London. The Stones' IMAX concert film, At the Max, is playing in major cities.

Skin game? A beardless Timothy (thirtysomething) Busfield took to the links at a celeb golf tournament in Rancho Mirage, Calif. He shaved his whiskers after making Strays, a USA network thriller airing Dec. 18.
