THE FLORIDA WEDDING WAS JUST for family. At the Jan. 10 postnuptial celebration of Jane Fonda's and Ted Turner's vows, Hotlanta finally met Hollywood. The 125 guests at L.A.'s L'Orangerie restaurant included Turner's Georgia pals and a West Coast celebrity A-list, from Barbra Streisand, Charlton Heston, Lily Tomlin and Meg Ryan to agent-god Mike Ovitz and Twentieth Century Fox chief Barry Diller.
After a five-foot-high wedding cake—constructed from 280 cream puffs—had been cut down to size, the party bubbled on with disco and Dom Pérignon past midnight. In her toast to the couple, Dolly Parton raised a glass to "the man of the year, the woman of the hour, the couple of the century."
Not bad for a one-month-old marriage.
