With the king of Late Night bowing out in May, the hills are suddenly alive with would-be talk show hosts. Among those seeking to launch shows in the coming months are Whoopi Goldberg, Vicki (Mama's Family) Lawrence and dirt-dishing biographer Kitty Kelley. The personality who may prove to be the most formidable entry, Dennis Miller, has just made his debut (see review). With all these gabfests, we could soon be facing a serious shortage of celebrity guests. The new talk show hosts may have to resort to interviewing each other.
