Halloween approaches, and that means it's trick-and-treat time in the entertainment and publishing worlds. Neatest trick: Ghost going into its fourth month on the movie Top 10 list. Meanwhile the film's signature song, the Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody," sits atop its Billboard chart. Toughest trick: The season's initial first-run episode of the Fox sitcom The Simpsons almost tying perennial Nielsen powerhouse The Cosby Show. If this keeps up, somebody at NBC will have a cow, man! Trump-haters' treat: Megamogul Donald Trump's autobiography Trump: Surviving at the Top not surviving there. Nicest treat: Another Stephen King tome, Four past Midnight, bestriding the fiction best-seller lists—the 16th time the horrormeister has hit the No. 1 spot and a ghoulishly appropriate way to mark the season.
