A Dallas history professor (Robert Hays), given use of a time transporter, decides to go back to 1963 to prevent the assassination of JFK. As you might imagine, things don't work out at all the way he plans, but while he's there, he decides to take care of a little personal errand.
Catherine Hicks and Sam Wanamaker also star in this smooth but obvious drama. Couch potatoes may recall the concept as the basis for an episode featuring Lane Smith on the revived Twilight Zone. By the way, kids high-fiving in 1963? I don't think so.
