Art lovers, your ship just came in. This elucidating special celebrates the culture and artistry of Renaissance Florence. Moyers's gift has always been finding the right people to talk to, people who spin out ideas beautifully while he sits there and squints sagaciously. In this case, Americans Timothy Verdon, an art historian, and Sidney Alexander, an author, and Italians Frederico Zeri, an art historian, and Umberto Eco, the author, talk seductively of aesthetics and history.
