Still reeling from the death of her daughter in a car accident, a window dresser at a department store (Melissa Gilbert-Brinkman) espies a child who looks exactly like her lost baby. She becomes obsessed with finding this girl despite the fact that her occult-oriented boss (Thaao Penghlis) warns her that the child is an evil spirit.

Gilbert-Brinkman gets uneven help in this misleadingly mystical mishmash. Diane Ladd as her mother and Frances Lee McCain as her therapist are both fine, but her real-life husband. Bo Brinkman, is absolutely atrocious as her ex.
