Billed variously as a "video magazine" and "television journalism," this 90-minute mixed bag offers a ponderous tour of Ricky Van Shelton's Tennessee farm, an insightful look at manager Ken Kragen in the act of overselling Travis Tritt, a superficial interview with Minnie Pearl, a better interview with Michael Martin Murphy, and a chance to meet Holly Dunn's parents when she introduces them at a San Antonio concert. Which is to say that there's something here for everyone, something for nobody and a lot for individual tastes. This is a lasting testimonial to the fast-forward function. (MCA)
