Cybill Shepherd stars as a nurse shepherding a group of Asian orphans away from the carnage in Cambodia. John (Breaker Morant) Waters plays an Aussie boat captain who rescues them off the coast of Thailand. While the film grows increasingly sodden with melodrama, the early scenes of refugee suffering are moving.
