A divorced woman (Mare Winningham) with two kids, vacationing on an island off the Pacific Northwest coast, gets the wrong snapshots back from a photo developer. Please don't make me explain why, but that puts her in the cross hairs of a rootin'-toot-in' assassin with a passion for the Wild West.

Nick Mancuso and Christopher McDonald also star in this slow-starting conspiracy film that tightens up as it goes along. Lending texture to the premise are involving performances by even the younger contingent of the cast: Christopher Pettiet and Ryan McWhorter as Winningham's sons, and Geoffrey Blake as the college student infatuated with her.

Director Alan Metzger slips in a sly in-joke: The local movie is showing The China Lake Murders, which happens to be his previous project for the channel.
