In the premiere episode of the CBS sitcom Good Sports, retired 7'2" basketball great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was roundly ridiculed by Ryan O'Neal's sportscaster character for his acting aspirations. "What are you gonna do," O'Neal gibed, "play a spy? Like no one would notice you walking around the Kremlin?" Well, Saturday (Feb. 23, 8 P.M. ET), three weeks after playing a basketball star on Amen, Kareem gets a chance to test his range. He guest-stars as a judge in small-claims court on a sitcom where even his acting is bound to shine: CBS's Uncle Buck. It's not too big a stretch. Settling a boundary dispute between Buck and his neighbor, the big guy still gets to put up—or rather, throw down—a sky hook. Let's see O'Neal try that!
