Kind of a drag: Madonna, 32, visited with female impersonator Lypsinka (John Epperson), 35, after catching one of his performances in Los Angeles. The Material Girl is an investor in his show.

John F. Kennedy Jr., 30. brought theater director Toni Kotite, 27, to a benefit honoring Robert De Niro in Manhattan. No official word yet on whether or not John's longtime sweetie, Christina Haag, is history.

In Beverly Hills, Francis Ford Coppola, 51, and Kevin Costner, 36, came out swinging at the Golden Laurel Awards, given to TV and movie producers (Costner won) by their peers in the Producers Guild. Actually the two Hollywood hotshots talked shop and demonstrated their movie punch-throwing techniques for each other.
