Okay, dudes, so maybe your awesome film made a most excellent bundle, and we won't be able to fight off a sequel with a big stick. The movie—starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter—was still the worst nightmare of every parent of an American teenager made manifest, a celebration of ignorance and adult-trashing, a celluloid monument to adolescent lunkheads everywhere. (George Carlin, how could you?) And not only were its jokes not excellent, dudes, they were dweeb-worthy.
