Have you caught by any chance any of the British parliamentary proceedings on C-Span? Blimey! They're an absolute riot. Reminds me of dinner with my family. One member stands up to speak, and everyone else in the room heckles at the top of their lungs. Every pronouncement is drowned out immediately in a tumult of invective and derision. Margaret Thatcher comes into the House of Commons for a weekly question-and-answer session—called Prime Minister's question time—and coolly handles this cageful of tigers. Her frustrated and nattily dressed colleagues treat her worse than the press treats politicians here. We think of the Brits as terribly civilized, but check it out. These guys are...ANIMALS.
