Let us now praise My Two Dads. Not that it's howlingly funny, but you have to admire its pluck. Since the NBC sitcom debuted in 1987, it has been (Moonlighting included) the most sporadic show ever—on four months, off six weeks. (Brandon Tartikoff uses My Two Dads the way society matrons keep a tidy extra man in reserve to fill dinner tables in case of emergency.) It has now been moved into ALF's old Monday night slot. You can safely assume it won't be there long.
