Even Jim Henson's outfit has its limits, and the "animatronics" effects used in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles don't allow the reptilian heroes to get into any serious pursuit of their favorite pastime—eating pizza. As compensation, let's recall these memorable eating scenes: (1) Albert Finney and Joyce Redman greasily seducing each other over dinner in Tom Jones; (2) Michael Douglas wondering about Kathleen Turner's pâté in The War of the Roses; (3) Paul Newman stuffing down hard-boiled eggs in Cool Hand Luke; (4) Lady and Tramp finding true love at the end of a spaghetti strand in Lady and the Tramp; (5) Just about anything in Babette's Feast; (6) John Wayne and Sophia Loren, stranded in the Sahara, sharing a can of peaches in Legend of the Lost; (7) Charles Laugh ton devouring a hunk of meat with kingly lack of manners in The Private Life of Henry VIII; (8) Bob Hope and Bing Crosby eating themselves into hock in Road to Morocco; (9) Submariners Tyrone Power and Dana Andrews digging into a mound of fresh fruit and vegetables after returning from a long patrol in Crash Dive; (10) Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke making an ungodly mess in the kitchen in 9½ Weeks. Then there's The Night of the Living Dead, but that's another story.
