Picks and Pans Review: Busch Gardens: the Dark Continent

UPDATED 04/02/1990 at 01:00 AM EDT Originally published 04/02/1990 at 01:00 AM EDT

"A Jungle of Fun" is how this 30-minute commercial for Tampa's 300-acre theme park is packaged. And indeed, Busch Gardens looks like a fun place, with its sky rides, roller coasters, waterfalls and pink flamingos. There's a mock Serengeti Plain, where 500 large African animals graze on 70 acres. Viewers will also see Chinese pandas, Asian elephants, Bengal tigers and Kenyan giraffes among the inhabitants that enliven this park. (Video-Tours, Inc., $9.95; 800-869-6789)
