The crocuses have croaked. The air is getting balmy. Inhale and you feel you could lift off like Peter Pan. Digging your old windbreaker out of the closet, you discover in the pocket some tiny blast from the past—a quarter, a ticket stub, a lost ballpoint—and feel almost tipsy. Spring, babe! Not only young men's hearts are turning to thoughts of love. Romantic urges are endemic. By May they'll be epidemic. So get with the program. Shed that hibernated winter pudge. Pop a soaring ballad into the CD player, a heart-tugging epic into the VCR. Tune in a soap. As the Beatles said, "All you need is love." And after you ante up to Uncle Sam on April 15—or file for an extension—it may be all you've got.
