>The weekday hours between breakfast and lunch are pretty glum on TV. As far as ABC's The Home Show (11 A.M.) goes, I have a sneaking suspicion that eventually Gary Collins will appoint his wife, Mary Ann Mobley, as his permanent co-host and that she will resume right where she left off last year: describing on the air how she likes to pop Gary's blackheads.

NBC's House Party with Steve Doocy (10 A.M. ET) has the same desperate air the Pat Sajak show took on when CBS started monkeying with the format every half hour.

Ah, but there's a new entry, The Marsha Warfield Show (NBC, 11:30 A.M. ET). Warfield kicks around a daily topic with her audience and two celebrity guests. She's refreshingly funny, earthy, genuine and tart—like Oprah with an attitude.
