Fox scores again with a riotously energetic, recklessly funny comedy-revue show from Keenen Ivory Wayans, the writer-director of I'm Gonna Git You Sucka. With an ensemble cast that includes Wayans's brother Damon and sister Kim. David Alan Grier and James Carrey, the sketches go after celebrities (Mike Tyson, Milli Vanilli. Sugar Ray Leonard. Arsenio Hall) with the same bloodlust Saturday Night Live had in its earliest days. It also has a turbo dance crew that makes the Solid Gold Dancers look like June Taylor rejects. The show proves, as did Robert Townsend's specials for HBO. that prime time has been sorely lacking in satire with a black sensibility.
