In a movie with clear roots in the case of Dr. Elizabeth Morgan, Meg Tilly plays an architect who goes to jail for refusing her ex-husband (Michael O'Keefe) legal visitation rights to their 5-year-old (the charming but overtaxed Marta Woodward) when there are indications of sexual abuse.
The incisive drama has a fine cast, including Michele Greene as Tilly's best friend and Ed Begley Jr. as her attorney. But Tilly is the most moving and eloquent, working at a level of instinct and artistry rarely seen on television.
