I like the polite way TV Guide refers in its listings to network summer filler as "unsold" pilots. Well, I'm kind of sold on this reject—in a leasing mood, anyway.
When their big Santa Monica law firm breaks up, two women attorneys start their own practice. Joanna (Buffalo Bill) Cassidy is the stay-press careerist. Marcy (Santa Barbara) Walker is the firebrand idealist.
The drama is surprisingly stiff, coming from writer-producer Terry Louise Fisher, late of Cagney & Lacey and L.A. Law. But the two stars are so good, it's too bad the show didn't get a chance to develop.
