Where has Showtime been hiding this guy? The channel says Cesario is a "resident comic." But some of us haven't seen him before—despite his Letterman and Carson credits. No matter, with his witty stand-up act Cesario should win a lot of followers.
In an era when many comics get easy laughs (and headlines) with groin, racial and bathroom humor, it is delightful to find someone who induces real belly laughs with such offbeat subjects as algebra, samba music, triathlons, deer hunting and TV sportscasters. If you don't have cable, don't despair. Cesario recently signed a development deal with CBS.
