Speaking of babies, this is the show that was hastily added after Connie Chung decided to stay home and try to get pregnant. Sharon (Cagney & Lacey) Gless plays an unhappy divorcée and embattled idealist who leaves her corporate law practice to become a public defender. At work, we see the feisty Rosie: her vulnerable side surfaces at sessions with her shrink. While it's a great vehicle for Gless, it only makes for rather run-of-the-mill TV.
