Dana Carvey beat Jim Belushi's Taking Care of Business to the punch by a few months with this role-exchanging comedy. This film, with Carvey as a two-bit crook who impersonates a slick M.B.A. type, beats TCB in the laughs category too. Carvey works in his President Bush imitation—prudently, of course. (MCA)
NO BOY IS AN ISLAND: LORD OF THE FLIES
This rendering of William Golding's novel adds little to the 1963 version except American accents; here the marooned kids are from the U.S., not England. But teenagers Balthazar Getty and Chris Furrh acquit themselves well as the boys who fight for control of their tiny universe. (Orion)
