Paul McCartney and wife Linda, both 48, made spectacles of themselves in Buddy Holly-like frames at a birthday bash for the dead rocker in New York City. McCartney owns the rights to Holly's music.
At the MTV Awards in L.A., the evening's oddest couple had to be veteran comedian-cross dresser Milton Berle, 82, and rapper-boss dresser Flavor Flav, 31, of Public Enemy. Also there as co-presenters were L.A. Law's Susan Dey, 37, below, and her ex-Partridge Family bro, David Cassidy, 40. David's first album in 15 years is due this fall.
Major Dad's Gerald McRaney, 43, hustled wife Delta Burke, 33, through L.A.'s airport en route to Atlantic City, where the Designing Women star (once Miss Florida) was a Miss America Pageant judge.
