Give Michael Keaton credit. Whatever the flaws of Pacific Heights, he's making a concerted effort to do a 180-degree turn from his fantasy hero role in Batman, which is sensible, all things considered. Try as he has, Christopher Reeve has never quite escaped his Super-stigma. Tarzan pretty well did in both Miles O'Keeffe and Christopher Lambert (not to mention the effect playing Jane has had on Bo Derek's plans to do Lady Macbeth). And as for the Lone Ranger, well, hi-ho, Klinton Spilsbury, away.
