The great man reviews his own show as it begins: "I'm afraid that I haven't got more to offer, really, than being an actor." Gielgud spends most of his 90 minutes recalling fine details of dozens of Shakespeare productions, That may fascinate theater fanatics, but it is not terribly dramatic on its own. No, instead of listening to him talk about acting, it would be better to watch him act (in anything but War and Remembrance).
