These versions of the Dickens stories trudge along with as much life as a cigar store Indian. They involve camera shots of book illustrations and a voice-over narration. This form is an old cheat where kiddie videotapes are concerned, but it's even more annoying here, since even the drawings are second-rate and it all drones on for 32 minutes. Bah, humbug, or as Kate would put it, "We hate it, Mom." (Congress, $14.95; 800-847-8273)
