He can rap with the best (or worst) of them, satirize blissful indifference by offering the advice of Roll with the Punches or wax lyrical about true love. He takes a few stiletto-in-cheek stabs at his own business—among others—in It's Money That Matters. The only thing wrong with the kind of thing Newman does is that he hasn't done enough of it the last few years.
