It's your basic buddy movie: Julia (Newhart) Duffy plays a ditsy model who's being chased by mad murderers, so she's protected by Dinah (Empty Nest) Manoff as a gruff and lonely cop. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you've seen it all before: They hate each other, then help each other out of trouble, then come to like each other, then solve the biggest crime of the century. It's cute and slight, but I'll say this much: At least it's more fun than watching Cagney & Lacey
