Someday, other musicians may rediscover their roots and give us concerts, albums and shows filled with polkas or Prussian military marches. That's fine. Those forms have their fans. But I'm not one of them. Neither am I crazy about Linda Ronstadt's overproduced show filled with the Mexican songs, dances and costumes of her father. Maybe I'm Swiss (or just full of holes), but I think I'd rather listen to a solid hour of yodeling.
