Robin Leach, must you screech? Just what are you trying to tell us? Of those with no taste and money to waste, we should all be envious and jealous? In this two-hour special, Leach, as Commander Good Life, is beamed to Earth from a Starship Enterprise look-alike to show film clips of what he deems to be the world's best hotels, restaurants and spas. (Star Trek alumni Nichelle Nichols, George Takei and James Doohan ought to be court-martialed.) There are categories within categories, as practically every hotel, restaurant and spa in the world is cited, not one going home a loser. Helping Leach in his search for excellence are such arbiters of taste as Jerry Lewis, Pat Boone, Charlene Tilton and Connie Stevens.

Jeff Jarvis is on special assignment.
