Last season, I went gaga over a couple of delightfully loony but daring Brits who showed us odd parts of the world in Adventure. This season, the first two episodes of Adventure bring us another wonderfully wacky Brit: David Fanshawe, a composer and musicologist who travels through Pacific islands collecting native songs and sounds. This is not the canned and cleansed native culture you see in the opening ceremonies to Olympic games; this is real native music, performed with joy and passion. This is a kick and a half.
