NBC (Saturdays, 8 P.M. ET)

Of all the many shows trying out this spring for slots on the schedule next fall, this is the next-to-worst. (Live-In was the worst.) In Boys, Maria Conchita (Moscow on (he Hudson) Alonso plays a Hispanic immigrant who has learned our language and all our clich├ęs: "I came to this country because I believe you can do anything here.... I just need someone to give me a chance." That someone is Robert (Hill Street Blues) Clohessy, who hires her in his all-male construction firm. The show is filled with cleavage jokes and toilet-flushing sound effects. But that's no surprise. Boys is brought to us by a team that includes that erstwhile network boss and king of jiggle, Fred Silverman.
