And of all the new series trying out this spring, this is the most promising I've seen yet. In Have Faith, Joel Higgins, Ron Carey, Stephen Furst and Frank Hamilton play priests. They minister to parishioners who have erotic dreams about Satan; they say prayers in the vernacular ("Rub-a-dub-dub, thanks for the grub—yeah, God!"), and they have a secretary (France-sea P. Roberts) who doesn't know the difference between a monsignor and a rabbi. Have Faith looks like WKRP in Rome or Barney Miller in a parish house—and those are good omens. This one deserves a chance in the fall.
