If you want to avoid reruns this week you'll have to do some fast, creative channel switching. But there are a few new shows out there, including a fresh Smothers Brothers reunion, documentaries on the European crane and the abominable snowman, and a special on the struggle of Arabs and Jews in Israel. Anyone craving escapism had better stick to the reruns.
