Lace 'em up, move 'em out! Is anything more exhilarating to watch than ice dancing? Filmed (last November) in Rochester, N.Y., this hour-long celebration features a lot of potential champions gliding with grace. And more ice persons cometh. Film clips from past skating spectaculars are interspersed, featuring lively displays by Olympic gold medalist Brian Boitano and silver medal pairs Kitty and Peter Carruthers, among others. Emceeing the event, part of the Genesee Figure Skating Club's biennial ice-skating show, are great skates (and former partners) JoJo Star-buck and Ken Shelley, who also perform. Magically, of course.
