This is not a children's show; the Kids in the Hall happens to be the name of a comedy troupe that comes from Toronto. Its five members, all between the ages of 23 and 32, have been given a weekly half-hour series. If this week's opening episode is any indication, these Kids are not going to end up being sent to their rooms. They're going to be with us a long time. For the most part, the skits and characters they present are hysterically funny, often irreverent without being offensive. They all double, Python style, as female characters, slipping in and out of drag with extraordinary ease. These comic chameleons are Scott Thompson, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney, Dave Foley and Bruce McCulloch. Can't wait for more.
