My friend Ann would run barefoot over hot coals to see Pierce Brosnan do just about anything. So wait till she finds out he does a steamy love scene in this TV movie tale of back-stabbing and business betrayal. And wait till she finds out you get to see a new (back) side of Pierce. It's a quick glimpse. That might have just been his elbow. Anyway, the movie is pretty cheeky. It is, however, often hard to tell who is backstabbing whom. Brosnan plays a man who spent four years in jail for a heist he didn't commit. Now he wants revenge. Brosnan, his lovely love interest (Australian star Wendy Hughes) and his slimy former business partner (Tom Skerritt) have some great lines to toss about. And the supporting players are also top-notch even when the script is not.
