There's nothing really bad about this new sitcom except there is nothing really new about it. Follow along and stop when you've heard any of this before. An idealistic young teacher (have you stopped yet?) and his bubbly med-student wife have a perfect marriage. But her father doesn't like him (you can't possibly still be reading). And—get this—Dad is the landlord who lives right upstairs! (You there?) Give credit to the three leads (Darryl Sivad, Penny Johnson and Bill Cobbs) who try vainly to breathe new life into a tired old format.
