Actress Michael Learned once bumped into me on the street. She apologized. I forgave her. But I won't be so generous about her acting in this lame Who's the Boss? 'spin-off. Learned, a four-time Emmy winner, should know better. In this dull premiere show she plays surrogate mother to four young models. The lifeless dolls are clichés—one is vain, the others smart, naive and streetwise. Seem familiar? Exec producer Ross Brown formerly worked on The Facts of Life. And he might have rewritten this script from way down in that show's reject pile.
