Some old favorites from yesteryear, namely Adam 12 and Dragnet, have returned to TV in all-new versions. Meanwhile, the former stars of Adam 12 are back this week in another new cop adventure. All this nostalgia has prompted some nagging questions about other shows from the past. Help me out here. On Gilligan's Island, why did the Howells pack so much for a three-hour cruise? What did Don and Judy really do when they went on those long walks on Lost in Space? Did Lassie have a death wish? Why did Wilbur spend so much time talking to Mr. Ed when he could have been horsing around with his buxom wife? Did Uhura ever uncross her legs on Star Trek? After getting shot at for what seemed like the 308th time, why didn't Peggy quit working for Mannix? Did he have dirt on her? And speaking of dirt, if Felix hated Oscar's unclean living habits on The Odd Couple so much, why didn't he just move out? Just wondering...
